Absentia Status at Commencement
All graduating seniors are expected to participate in the commencement ceremony. If unavoidable conflicts prohibit your involvement, you must submit a written request to the Office of Academic Programs for permission to graduate in absentia. Requests must reach the office by Friday, April 19.

For those who cannot attend in person, there will be a livestream of the Baccalaureate & Commencement Service.
Parking/Street Closings
Parking lots will be marked with directional signs during commencement weekend. On Commencement Day, East College Street and Memorial Drive will be closed. Please access the campus via East Jackson Military, or Mulberry Streets. To view our available parking lots, please see the campus map here.
Photos
Free, high-resolution commencement photographs will be available to download within a month. A variety of photographs will be available including graduates processing across the stage, master's candidates being hooded, and candid pictures taken before, during, and after the ceremony.

Questions/Assistance during the Exercises
If you have questions or need assistance at any time during the Baccalaureate and Commencement Exercises, please seek one of our junior marshals, who can be identified by their orange robes with a black sash.
Restrooms
Public Restrooms are located on the main floor of Asher Science Center (#5) and in Cralle Student Center (#10) on the first and second floors. Baby changing facilities are available in the women's restrooms in Cralle Student Center
Transportation
For those who are able to walk only short distances, have difficulty climbing stairs, use a wheelchair or are in need of special assistance, golf cart transportation will be provided from designated parking areas.
